Organizing an Event

Introduce others to the power of hope and change brought about by WCCN's projects. You can do anything from hosting a dinner party to starting a book club to raise awareness and funds for the Nicaraguan working poor. Here are a few fun ideas on how to get started [1].

Sharing Empowering Stories with your Friends

WCCN and our partner organizations in Nicaragua have changed the lives of many individuals and families living in poverty. Spread this good news! Short video clips [2] and success stories are available on our website. We also have a dvd entitled Better Futures: Voices from the Nicaraguan Credit Alternatives Fund [3], which shows the positive impact WCCN's work in microcredit is having on Nicaragua's working poor. WCCN offers copies of Better Futures at no cost. However, donations are accepted to cover expenses.

With over 3 billion people worldwide living on less than $2 a day, your change will help change lives. WCCN will gladly work with to get you started organizing your campaign.
