WCCN Mobilizes Donations to Aid in Hurricane Felix Relief Efforts
On Tuesday, September 4th, Hurricane Felix hit Nicaragua's Caribbean Coast. The hurricane is said to have killed at least 130 with dozens more missing. It has been reported that nearly half of the homes in the area around Puerto Cabezas, the area most ravaged by the hurricane, have been destroyed. Heavy rain following the hurricane has made flooding a real threat to residents in the affected area.
WCCN will be sending emergency financial aid to the region. Anyone interested in donating to Hurricane Felix relief efforts is encouraged to click on the Donate Now button in the upper right-hand corner of WCCN's website. Under the section entitled please let us know how you would like your gift to be designated, select Hurricane Felix Relief.
Additionally, WCCN is organizing a benefit concert in the coming weeks to help raise funds for hurricane relief efforts. Please check our website soon for additional information.
